Now that we’ve got that sorted, we’re still not out of the woods, as you level keep the following attack rotation in mind as this is how you will best take out enemies and level faster:
1. Cast Aspect of the Beast to boost pet damage and agro
2. Cast Hunter’s Mark on enemy to increase ranged damage
3. Use Concussive Shot to slow the enemy
4. Send in pet
5. Use Rapid Fire to up the speed at which you attack
6. If needed use Freeze Trap
7. If things get crazy or you need to drop agro use Feign Death
Now after reading all this, you’d think that would be enough to level 1-80 in no time, at least that’s what I thought…As I started putting the above Hunter Leveling Guide into action though, I found a different result…
I was leveling so damn SLOW!
I couldn’t understand why. Here I had the best Hunter Leveling Guide laid out in front of me, but it wasn’t enough and by level 15 or so the levels were going by at a snails pace. So I asked a fellow guild mate into the whole power leveling scene for help. He told me that I didn’t do enough research and that if I’m serious about leveling fast, I need a “Real” leveling guide, like the Team iDemise Leveling Guide. Well, after researching this hunter leveling guide, I found that it wasn’t a book like I had thought, but rather an in-game add-on that runs inside of World of Warcraft. It’s pretty cool actually, it places a giant green arrow in front of your Hunter which constantly points you in the direction of what quest you need to pick up next, what monsters you need to get rid of, and where and when to cash in your quest(s) to optimize your leveling efficiency.
You even have a written dialogue box that shows you what you need to do next, if you open it, you might see something like:
Kill 10 Spore Harvesters in the Borean Tundra for “Vermin Extermination” at (12,23)
Obtain 15 Tempest Motes from Enraged Tempests for “Motes of the Enraged” at (44,23)
Turn in the “Vermin Extermination” Quest to Scout Tungok
Now using this program drastically improved my leveling efficiency, but at the same time, it was not perfect. Here were some of my gripes:
CONS:
- They at first had this HTML version of the guide which I found helpful looking at outside the game, they have since removed it though.
- They could provide more videos showing how to complete some of the more difficult quests, as well as more info regarding class specific leveling info.
PROS:
- You get a Map Mod as well in this, when you open your mini-map, you can see visually what you need to do next. This works very well in combination with the written dialogue box.
- Of course you have the big green arrow to follow along too, that makes leveling almost brainless!
- You won’t get in trouble for having this since it’s not a hack or a cheat.
- You can use this not just as a Hunter Leveling Guide, but as a guide for all classes.
- You get lifetime updates to this software as well as access to a member’s only forum.

Final Thoughts:
Overall I was impressed with how much of a help this program was..If you’re tired of leveling slower than mud, this is something you definitely want to look into.
As a hunter leveling guide, it’s been so effective that I’ve tried it out on other classes as well. Each time, I’ve been able to reach level 80 anywhere from 7-10 in-game days. The fact that I’m able to level so quickly now has let me try out other classes I otherwise wouldn’t have which is pretty cool.
